Back in April, Kessler posted a side-by-side photo of himself and Sandler to Reddit after discovering Sandler plays a man named "Max Kessler" in his new movie, The Do-Over.

In a truly remarkable Reddit twist, Sandler noticed the post — and responded. "But can you do this, Max?" Sandler wrote.

The banter continued until eventually, Sandler invited Kessler to attend Monday's Los Angeles premiere of The Do-Over.
