Apple CEO Tim Cook is homemade video sexscheduled to host a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton, according to a report from BuzzFeed.
Cook will host the event as a private citizen, not in his capacity as Apple's chief executive. He will be joined by Lisa Jackson, Apple’s vice president of environment, policy and social initiatives.
The money from the event will go toward the Hillary Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee that supports Clinton's campaign as well as the Democratic National Committee and several state Democratic parties.
But the fundraiser doesn't entirely signal Cook's political leanings. In June, Cook held a fundraiser for Republican Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and a similar joint fundraising committee. Cook and Apple have, however, stayed away from Donald Trump's campaign this year.
BuzzFeed reported this news after obtaining an invitation to the Clinton fundraiser scheduled for August 24.
