There's a special place in hell for brands that don't fill crisp packets.
But this is Hostess in Heatbeyond words.
A guy from Nottingham just wanted to eat his Waitrose's crinkle cut crisps. He opened the pack to find one miserable crisp inside.
One.
Just one.
Yes, that's correct. ONE.
"That's a new sort of scrimping on crisps, innit?" he said in a video shared on Facebook by Helen Abbott, who also posted it to the Waitrose site.
Abbott said she was the one who bought the crisps, in a multi pack.
"We knew there wasn't a lot in there but wasn't expecting just one crisp to be In there," she told Mashable. "We thought it was funny because they are reduced calories lol."
Waitorse, which is an upscale supermarket chain, said they are "baffled" as to why "there was only a lonely crisp in the bag".
"We’re sorry for the disappointment and will be looking into what happened to the crisp's friends to make sure it doesn’t happen again," they told Mashable.
"We’d welcome the customer getting in touch so we can make things right."
