It's a big weekend for video games,The Liar (2014) and IGN (note: IGN and Mashable share the same parent company) will be contributing to that with IGN Live 2024.
The event, which streams live from June 7 to June 9, also happens to coincide with Summer Game Fest. You can get tickets now to attend in-person. However, even if you can't or don't want to go to the Los Angeles-based event, it's still worth checking out the full list of announced partners and guests. Be warned: It skews heavily towards general pop culture, not just gaming.
Here's a small taste of what you can expect from IGN Live.
The entire list of IGN Live guests poised to show up during the three-day event is extensive, but there are a few highlights worth noting:
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Powercast members Maxim Baldry and Cruz Córdova will stop by to talk about season 2, along with an "exclusive reveal"
John Wickdirector Chad Stahelski will stop by to talk about the series' 10-year anniversary
Upcoming Street Fighter 6DLC characters like Akuma will be playable at the event
Tetriscreator Alexey Pajitnov (along with Henk and Maya Rogers, who help run the Tetris business) will discuss the iconic video game's 40-year anniversary
Xbox executive Phil Spencer will join the show to discuss everything Xbox announces at its big showcase on June 9
These are just a few of the headliners at IGN Live. IGN also has a detailed schedule breaking down exactly when you can see every guest you want to see. Between all of that and Summer Game Fest, you'll want to be glued to a screen this weekend.
