Best Black Friday iPad dealsAn iPad can be an excellent addition to your tech collection, but they come with a big price tag. Luckily, Black Friday iPad deals can act as a major hack for the cost problem.
SEE ALSO: Save $150 on the new M3 MacBooks, plus more Mac and MacBook sales ahead of Black FridayYou might be under the impression that Apple rarely runs any sales (even their Black Friday situation maxes out at a gift card on top of a full price purchase), and that's true — if the only place you buy Apple products is directly from their website. However, if you look to stores like Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, and Target, you'll find that the whole line of products, iPads included, get markdowns regularly, with some of the best deals of the year making an appearance for Black Friday.
Below, we're tracking the best iPad deals live the day before Black Friday, as well as any that may have disappeared already:
Note:All newly added deals are marked with a ✨, while deals with a 🔥 have dropped to an all-time low price. Deals with a strikeoutwere either sold out or expired at the time of writing.

If you're looking for the "sweet spot" of iPad models, you'll find it in the iPad Air, according to Mashable's Stan Schroeder. It has an M1 chip, which will power you through tasks like gaming and audio editing without a hitch — and it won't cost you the $800-plus that an iPad Pro with the same chip would. This base model is slightly on the smaller side when it comes to storage, but luckily, the 256GB Air is also on sale for $99 off — which still puts it a good $150 below the 128GB iPad Pro. Basically, if you want something a bit less basic than the standard iPad but don't want to shell out, the Air is your perfect in-between. And at $499.99, it's back down to its lowest price ever — and the price we saw it sit at for the entirety of Prime Day.
Target went off with its latest drop of Black Friday Apple deals. The 9th generation has been sitting at its $249 low for a couple of weeks now, and though it was a good deal, it was a low price we'd seen before. As of Nov. 20, however, the 9th generation iPad has dropped to a new low — just $229.99 at Amazon and Target. Though this 2021-era tablet certainly isn't the latest and greatest, it's about $120 cheaper than any other brand new iPad on the market right now (that's including sale prices). The A13 chip and 10.2-inch Retina display will do what you need them to do for basic tasks, like taking notes or streaming video.
If you're looking for a bit more storage space, the 256GB model has also hit a new low of $379.99, again at both Amazon and Target.
