On Thursday, Kesha voiced her support for the former Miss Universe winner.

Some background: Near the end of Monday's debate, Clinton noted that Trump had in the past referred to Machado, a Clinton supporter, as "Miss Piggy" in reference to her weight.
In a Tuesday morning interview with Fox & Friends, Trump refused to back down on his words, saying, "She was the winner and she gained a massive amount of weight and it was a real problem." He also tweeted a series of insults about Machado on Friday morning.
In Kesha's post, she offered her support:

They are hard, and sometimes impossible, to ever forget. please don't let him get to you any longer, instead realize that you are a strong woman and a beautiful role model for standing up and telling the truth, even if it hurts to remember it.
