Apple just sent out invites for an event next week where the company is Six Swedish Girls at a Pump (High Test Girlsexpected to announce an updated MacBook Pro and possibly refreshes to the rest of the Mac lineup.
Here are all the rumors we've been hearing.
SEE ALSO: Apple sends out invites to October eventFirst up is the MacBook Pro. Apple's 13- and 15-inch laptops haven't been updated since March 2015. They're long overdue.
The new MacBook Pros are rumored to be thinner and lighter (of course). They'll reportedly come with four USB-C ports and a headphone jack if leaked images of the laptop's aluminum shell are to be believed.

The four USB-C ports are also rumored to be Thunderbolt 3 and will replace the existing MacBook Pro's two Thunderbolt 2, two USB 3.0 ports and HDMI port.
Other ports expected that may be removed are the SD card slot and MagSafe charging port. The removal of the latter will surely upset users. It wouldn't be the first time, though. Apple didn't include a MagSafe charging port on the 12-inch MacBook.
USB-C ports are versatile because they're capable of data transfer, video output and charging.
Rumors also suggest the top row of function keys will be replaced with an OLED "touch bar" that's capable of displaying notifications or button shortcuts on an app-per-app basis.
The power button could double as a Touch ID sensor that's similar to the one on the iPhone and iPad. Introducing a Touch ID sensor would increase security and possibly let users purchase things in Safari through Apple Pay using fingerprint authentication.
Under the hood, the new redesigned MacBook Pros will also likely come with the latest "Kaby Lake" Intel Core processors.
Apple's MacBook Air lineup has languished. Thought by many to be never updated again, Apple's reportedly planning to update its most affordable MacBooks with new internals and swap out the existing USB 3.0 ports with USB-C ports. It's unclear if the SD card and MagSafe will remain or get axed.
The 13-inch MacBook Air will probably become Apple's entry-level MacBook as the company is reportedly planning to kill the 11.6-inch Air.
Last updated about a year ago, Apple's 21.5- and 27-inch iMacs need a refresh just as badly.
Back in August, Bloomberg'sMark Gurman said the new iMacs might come with new, more powerful graphics chips from AMD. It's possible the increased graphics performance could finally make the iMac powerful enough for PC-based virtual reality headsets such as the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
The most unloved Mac of them all is the Mac Pro. Apple's cylinder-shaped desktop hasn't been updated in nearly three years!
We've no idea what kind of updates Apple would give to the Mac Pro.
Much like the entire Mac family, the Mac Mini is in desperate need of an update. Last updated two years ago, the most inexpensive Mac could use some downsizing and new guts to bring it up to speed with today's computing demands.
After discontinuing the 27-inch Thunderbolt Display this past June, users have been unsure whether or not Apple would replace it.
Word on the street is that a 5K resolution model made by LG could be released. That would bring it up to parity with the 5K 27-inch iMac. Whether it'll be updated next week is anyone's guess.
