A dog in Thailand who came back to the same spot by the roadside every day for a year to wait for her owners to find her,India Archives was tragically killed by a vehicle there.
Locals who had begun feeding her after observing her behaviour, found her body by the roadside on Sunday, according to local papers.

So for a year, Loung waited by the spot she fell along Sukhumvit road in the Ban Nong Khon village, in Chanthaburi.
She had become somewhat of a minor celebrity in the area, and had reportedly refused to go with other people who came to her and tried taking her away.
The mutt's story has gone viral on Facebook, where many have expressed admiration for her faithfulness, and their condolences at her passing.
In this footage on local Thai TV news, Loung is seen waiting patiently by her spot on the roadside, but often looking up at the traffic passing, seemingly expectantly:
