Save $100: As of December 8,Sunheri Yaadein (2020) PulsePrime Hindi Short Film the Roku Streambar and Roku Wireless Bass bundle is on sale for $149.99 at Amazon, which is 40% off its regular price of $249.99 (and the bundle's all-time low price!).
As we're going into a new year (2024, baby), it's time to leave bad TV audio in the past. That's where soundbars/compatible subwoofers come in handy. When you mount a soundbar flush under your TV (and place a subwoofer nearby), literal magic happens. As I wrote in my "best soundbars of 2023" review earlier this month, these gadgets provide way more powerful audio, a wider "sound field," and, overall, a more immersive listening experience than anything your built-in TV speakers are capable of. The Roku Streambar is one of my picks in that review... and what do you know? It's currently on a majorsale, alongside a Roku subwoofer.
As of December 8, you can amp up your movie-watching experience by grabbing the Roku Streambar and Roku Wireless Bass bundle while it's $100 off at Amazon. The bundle plummeted to a price of $149.99 for Black Friday this year (its lowest price ever!) and hasn't climbed back up to $249.99 yet. All this is to say — get. it. now.
What's so good about the Streambar and Roku Wireless Bass subwoofer?you might ask. Let me explain. The Streambar instantly upgrades an old TV into one that's 4K streaming-compatible — with crisp, HDR picture quality and Dolby Audio that does well in the speech clarity department. As per my review, the Roku Streambar has four internal speakers meant to fill your whole room with sound, but it's really the Wireless Bass subwoofer that makes a world of difference when it comes to a surround-sound experience. Roku throws in some extra perks to treat its users, too: Like the ability to connect your headphones to the Streambar for some ~private~ listening, an option to project your entire camera roll onto the TV screen, and beyond. Weighing in at 2.2 pounds, the Streambar itself is just a lil' baby — small enough to hold in one hand but powerful enough to make you real happy with this purchase.
