British indie rocker Morrissey may be Watch Batman Begins Online"heartbroken" that the last six shows in his tour are canceled, but he's still got some strong words for his management company and the music industry overall.
On his fan site, True To You, the former Smiths frontman posted over the weekend that his performances in Detroit, Chicago Cleveland, Houston, Dallas and San Antonio weren't happening because they were "destroyed by the ephemeral damagers."

After his keyboardist collapsed backstage at a Boulder, Colorado, show last month, Morrissey claims his management company didn't have enough funds to keep the tour going. He called out "slippery industry incompetents" who have tried to hold back his band and expressed frustration with the music industry, "where only scale and enormity of cash is seen as evidence of talent."
Morrissey went on about the state of the music business, writing, "The true artists must look after themselves whilst the artificially aroused are aided and assisted to the highest ranks without a shred of effort, and the result is ... a nest of horrors."
His fans are the first to point out that the singer is prone to flaking on his shows, but this time he appears to have a financial reason behind the decision. He called the earlier part of the tour a "phenomenal year - scarred at the end, but drenched in beauty until then."
